I wanted to let you know I received my order, they are beautiful!

I love the idea of them.  I am a 40 year old woman, and one of the frustrating things I find about being DEAF is that it is a 'hidden disability.'  I read lips and speak very well, so people often forget about my hearing loss.

I love the idea of charms for two reasons...1)It's a visible cue for people who know me...it helps them to remember to face me when talking.  2)It's a visible way for me to show people who I meet that I wear a hearing aid, and it helps them to understand why I may be asking them to repeat themselves.

My mum recently ordered a pair of black and white tube twists for me, Heidi.  I received them over the weekend and I absolutely love them!  They are the perfect size and look great.  People at school keep complimenting me on my hearing aids rather than simply pointing them out.  You also sent me a free pair of blue tube twists with gold through the centre.  I love this pair too!  I really like the colour of them and the gold really adds to it.

I wish that your company had been around when I was young and wore bilateral BTE hearing aids.  The story on your website of kids hiding their hearing aids -- that was me.  I was mainstreamed and there were no other children with hearing loss in the school.  I never knew anyone else like me and so never wore my hair up.  I'm sure the other kids knew of my hearing loss but i was too embarrassed and shy to show my hearing aids.

I'm sure your company is doing wonders for many kids who wear hearing aids.  It would have been so cool to be able to decorate my hearing aids in ways that those without hearing aids couldn't do.  You have a wonderful company here and I wish you well.  I will order from you again in the future.  Do you do any holiday themed CI bling?  I think it would be fun to have different bling for different holidays.

While they’re all beautiful, I think the Hunger Games charms are everyone’s favorites.  They arrived this afternoon and she immediately put them on…and immediately started getting compliments.  Everyone at the dentists’ office was “oohing” and “aahhing” about them.  She told them all about you and your business and everyone was so impressed!

I got the charms and gave them to my good friend who is in school to become a veterinary nurse; she loved them! I no longer have hearing aids myself as I now have bilateral cochlear implants. I have high hopes that you will be able to come up with a way to attach them to the CI processors as I LOVE all your charms!!
I am a teacher who works with students with hearing loss so may buy a few more pairs of charms to give to them. Will you have more horse charms to choose from? Two of the girls love horses and I want to get them a pair (they each wear one hearing aid).
